Angels don't always have wings!

I was watching a show last night and one of the actors made a statement, she said Angels do not have to have wings sometimes it is just a person who comes into your life and does something special. I thought it was quite beautiful and I wanted to share!  It is true, angels are around us daily some seen and some not!  People are angels, they are caring and loving and norishing others each and every day!  I believe that everytime you are there for someone, no matter how big or small, a problem,, a smile, a gesture, a hug a helping hand, you are an angel!  Remember that and live by that rule!  I'm pretty sure you all have angels in your life!  When I am down or not feeling well, wether it be family or friends all my angels flock around me!
I thank you all, my Angels!

California Dreaming!

I love that song, and I cannot wait to go to California in August, so excited.  Do you believe we have not even gone on our trip this year and my husband has already find out where we are going next year!  Someone told him about a place in Florida near the keys that he was going to since 1978 and just loves it so much.  The sand is white and the hotel is right on the beach.  My husband is more excited about that than California, go figure!!  I know that once he gets to California he will love, just wants to be a ball buster.  The funny part is that when I first met my husband back in the day, not even 3 weeks later I had a schedule trip to California with my cousin Donna and we were away for 10 days. Everyday I would talk to him and all he would ever say is I wish I was there!..   Well guess what Bob, you will be in about 7 weeks. LOL

Doctors appointment!

Well off to see Doctor at 5:30 today and hope the news is that I could put off any operation until Sept. at least!  I will promise to be very careful of not picking up any heavy objects for sure!  I really hate all this stuff, why can't things just run smoothly, I know, it would be way to easy for that!  LOL  Have to see Doctors 2 times this week and next week, Monday and than Friday for them to check out my band to make sure all is okay with that!  What a pain in the butt this is. I love when I am in top form and healthy as an ox, but we all know that is not always the situation!  It sucks to get old!  What am I saying, I could have gotten a hernia at 28 yrs old too. Being 56 is not the end of the world, I still have a few more good years before everything starts shutting down, I hope! Think positive Fran, thing all will be fine!

Day almost over!

I have a nice relaxing weekend, which is a good thing with my hernia acting up! Doctor told me plain and simple, be careful and that is my plan.  If weather is nice, tomorrow might get a little sun, since I am white as a ghost and need a little color!  Pain in side has calm down and I am hoping I could push operation back to at least Sept. which will be better in the long run!  Its all up to the Doctor and what she sees, and if I promise to be real careful I could get away with it!  I hope!!!

Kids, right from wrong!

One of my blogger Friends brought to my attention, that not all parents are to blame, and in all honesty he or she is right!  In a fit of anger I wrote about the parents being to blame, I guess I figured a parent knows their child's particular personalities and would know if their child would be that way because it is hard to hide rudeness or any other trait that they might have.  But my blogger friend is right, kids know what is right from wrong and should be held responsible for their own actions.  But I do feel guidance from parents and showing them right from wrong is the responsibility of a parent!  Now, them following it is not always a parents fault! So to all parents out there, when a child reaches a certain age, right from wrong is not a question anymore but plain common sense!  Thank You blogger friend for reminding me of that!  Just plain out need to vent!

Respect!

Crazy ass kids, no respect.. When I look at that video of the older women getting harassed on the school bus and being treated with no respect at all, it makes me sick to my stomach.  Who is raising these kids and what type of people are they, that they don't tell there kids, you do not treat people like that!
I have to wonder at all if they were even disciplined by their own parents and I hope to hell that they were from outside sources.  They for sure should be, no one should get away with that type of behavior, the elderly for sure or any other human being!  I am not a perfect parent, and make no claims to be.  But if my son ever and I mean ever treated anyone like that, he could be twenty years old even I would not tolerate that type of behavior and a smack would be in order.  If you think that is abuse so be it, I don't, abuse is looking at the women on the bus and seeing her so upset and alone. Grow up kids because one day you are going to be that age, sooner than you think.
